Photos from Iraq
I saw photos on T.V I hope pictures like this will spread around so that people will start thinking with their conscious instead of their greed. I also heard that the Americans administration is afraid of such pictures being spread around and anti-war resentiment might rise again. I'm fully aware that many innocent Iraqi civilians are being injured and killed by US bombs, and that's horrific. Honestly, thoughts like this plague me every day... I do not consider myself truly pro- or anti-war, but that does not make me indifferent.
I would advise anyone in here especially young and sensitive members if you go to these sites, are aware you are going to see dead people.

Yes they are startling pics. Myself, I dont need to go looking for them because I already know they excist, as with any war, the images can be horendous. It would take way to much space to voice my opinion of the war, but no matter what we can not leave the region now. We will be there for a very long time with many more losses on both sides and many more bad images. What is a real shame is that images like that are so ready available, but trying to find out all the good things are soldiers have been and are doing is hard to find. Not that they are not plentiful, but rather that news doesnt seem to be released or just goes against the opinion of sites such as these listed. I would recommend looking for the positives that have been going on, the support that is not reported and most of all, pray for each and every one of our soldiers putting their life on the line over there on a dailey basis.

Pictures like those are expected during war. It's called collateral damage and can occur for many reasons but the main one is being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Anyone who thinks things like this do not happen is either a fool or very stupid and needs to be reminded to breath. This is why I do not think and president whether Republican or Democrat will enter a war for personal gain, especially one who was in the military. They know incidents like the ones pictured will occur. It happens in war.
I have never heard anyone say war is pretty or fun. It is quite the opposite, very ugly.

You come in here as some troll trying to tell people, by your post and pictures that we should not stand up for our freedoms. Who the hell are you to come in here like some coward telling us we should just take it, to just let more of our innocent women, children and men be killed by some coward terrorist?
I can understand how some people, who are very weak, such as yourself, can be lead around by some pictures. The pictures make you feel bad and that is an emotion but the problem is, the truth is, you can not make decisions based on emotions. They have to be based on LOGIC. The LOGIC is Iraq was a part of a huge terrorist organization they were a part of the war on terror. They provided money, training, a home base and weapons for terrorist around the world who wished to cause grave harm to America and they had to be dealt with.
As far as the pictures you show they are quite biased if you ask me. You provide no pictures of Saddam’s mass murders, the gassings, the rapes and the tortures he committed against hundreds of thousands of his own citizens.
We did what had to be done NOT only for America’s safety but for the innocent citizens of Iraq. DEATH is a part of WAR it always has been and it always will be so get use to the pictures because they are reality.
You will either see the pictures you provide that have extremely far less death and causalities then would have been the case had we stayed at home and just kept taking crap from the cowards of the world.
In other words, there will ALWAYS be those pictures so I don’t understand why your emotions have come to the surface now and not 10 years ago or for 911. What about those events? You have any emotions over those?

Our administration is not necessarily afraid of showing pictures as you might suggest but rather because there are a lot of weak minded people such as yourself who would put your own family at risk in order to hope and pretend about ”Can’t we all get along?” The answer is NO WE CAN NOT ALL GET ALONG without having the force to INSURE we all get along and we are using the force now to show those who do NOT wish to get along that they had either better start or we will just KILL them all (terrorist) it is as easy as that…

You ARE anti-war and probably PRO terrorist supporter (since what your doing helps the terrorist cause) just as anyone else who can NOT seem to understand the FACTS of what is going on in the world today. You are the kid in school who willingly gives up your milk money to the bully.
So to you I say go ahead and keep giving up your milk money because I am going to do everything I possible can to kick the bullies *** and teach him a lesson. If that don’t work I am going to kill the bully so no one else has to worry about getting beat up on for NO REASON AT ALL!

Easy Burt
But I agree with ya 110 %, those pics are from Al Jazeera or what ever the fruck the name is an is just propaganda for them. The pic I tried to post was of the jet hitting the second tower and was meant to make the twerp think of what happened here.
Now I have to get his lunch money, then stop in and say hi to a friend that just came back from Iraq, and tell him how we appreciate what he does.

As someone who is in the USA, I think that anti war sentiment is already up. People are all too aware of what is happening over there, especially to our soldiers and civilian contrators. Because some still support the war, they are not greedy and they are not nessescarily ignorant about what is in those picutres, they just realize that this is a difficult situation and images like that are reality. I also don't think that people are thinking with their greed, honestly, what are we going to get out of iraq? Cheap oil, I doubt it, if we wanted cheap oil we could have said screw the UN made a deal with saddam and said go ahead do what you want, just send us cheap oil and all will be well. My consience tells me that while Iraq may not have been as urgent as it was portrayed, we did a good thing there and now we have to be there to see that it a nasty civil war does not errupt and that everyone (****ie, sunni, kurd, ect...) has a voice in choosing the next gov't in Iraq. Those people that demonstrate peacefully are enjoying that priveledge because American and coalition troops liberated their country. They couldn't practice their religion freely or demonstarte freely under saddam. Those that stage insurgencies and attack coalition forces are foolish because they aren't going to get us out any faster because of that. More chaos just means its harder to set up any sort of power transfer. Cooperate and soon enough you will have your country back under your control and if you happen to choose a fundamentalist islaimc gov't then remember who sacrificed their lives so that you could have that freedom to make that choice.
The current uprising in violence is only going to get worse before the turnover. This spread of violence was predicted as the deadline to the turnover of the Iraqi gov't to the people closes in. War is not pretty. Fact of life, but the troops over in Iraq have done so much for the people of Iraq that we almost never hear of. The nightly news and cable news headlines are always have the number of dead in Iraq and make it out to be what it's not. The media seems to be infacuated with turning this war into a losing effort for our troops.
Found this quote from today's Nuze, fits quite well:
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." .... John Stuart Mill
