I love the Shield. I'd never really watched it until December, I ended up getting the first 3 seasons on DVD because I liked it so much. I just wish Vic had never killed that one guy in the beginning, I really liked Vic before that.

I'm pretty sure this is the last season for the Shield. I read an article or two that more or less said this was it.

Incidentally, anybody know what that song is at the end of "Cherrypoppers"? It's playing at the very end when the green sedan with the broken taillight drives by a corner with hookers on it and turns right...

I really liked last nights episode! Especially when Kavanaugh walked in on Vic at the safe house in the end. I hope Vic screws Kavanaugh AND Aceveda!

What did y'all think?

Vic is setting up Kav....its amazing to see him manipulate a situation to his beneift.

He played the wire bit with Acevada perfectly. Kav wont believe the conversation was about trash...he'll start doubting Ace which will cloud his judgement. He's taken care of his CI leak and has that defense attorney right where he needs her.

His biggest risk right now is his ex-wife.

Self-preservation will kick in...

If she is worried about going to jail and leaving her kids in foster care she'll turn on Vic in a second.

That is the only element of this story that Vic doesnt know about...she really screwed up by telling him that she knew he was a cop....

Vic's wife is very wishy washy but, I don't think she knows enough to send him away. She knows just enough to cast a shadow of doubt over Vic. Very interesting how Vic reeled in that female attorney also. I hope that fugly CI that is two timing Vic gets screwed.....she's nothing but trash. Can't wait till next week!

It was great....I loved the fact that he turned the the sting around and screwed IA.

Its wrong to root for such a crooked cop but he is effective....
