DSL better with ethernet card?

Like I said, I used USB 1.1 interface to my cable modem directly for over a year without any problems. USB support plug and play so if the signal goes away, it has no problems picking back up, although it is very rare that the cable modem connection goes away.

Well, I hope you can read fast because I'm finally ond DSL! I did get an ethernet card ............ blew a whole 14 bucks too.

Also picked up a TV tuner card (ATI TV Wonder VE) for $49 too. It has nice features. Totally rocks, I'm watching the tube as I type this reply.

I'm all surfed out, I gotta get to bed now but I cant tear myself away from the 'puter. Between my own tv and a high speed connection all on one monitor I dont know wether to $h!t or go blind.

Thanks everyone for your input. It's greatly appreciated.

Just pray you dont have any outages!

It sucks going from broadband back to 56k...even if it is just temporarily.
