I'm a damn lucky man!

So March 16th was my 30th birthday. My fiancé just got me the best present I could imagine. <fade to memory, don’t worry I’ll make it short> It all started 8 years ago when I bought my 1992 Red Mustang 5.0. After 6 years of mods, cleaning, cruising, speeding, racing, burn outs and general fun loving stupid things a parked car cut me off one night and by by car. 2001 welcomed my 1998 F-150 and here I am. Told you it was going top be short. I love my truck but that itch to get another Mustang has never left. My wonderful fiancé opened up an investment account for me and will be putting in a few bucks into it for one year. I of course can invest as much as I want whenever I have a few extra bucks. The sole purpose of the account is to get another Mustang and still keep my F-150. SWEET!

I see you said fiance. Well if she did that I would be marring her soon as to not let a great women like that get away.

My wife set up one of those accounts and told me if I even touch it it will be bye bye car and truck and house.. not really.

Sounds like she is a keeper though, good luck.

Sled...

similar but different

I informed my hubby the other night that once his Lightning is paid off in May we are going to change the direct deposit for that account (credit union aco****) down to $45 a week. That way he can use that as his motor fund but we still see some extra money coming in for the house stuff (like his massive credit cards).

Its all about priorities. A happy life is a better life, for everyone.

You are a lucky man, you have a woman who wants to help you save instead of spend what you make!
