Before, when I only had my diesel, I called it my truck. Now that I have a ranger, I call it my diesel and I call the ranger the toy. Gets the point across to my kids when I tell them which truck to get into.

In the film and book it was a 1958 Plymouth Fury. The book actually contains many errors about the model. obviously Stephen King does not know cars or is a lazy researcher.

I have a 57 Fury which is identical to the 58 except for the headlights (58 has twin lamps) and the tailights which have minor differences.

Just so you know what it should look like, here's my 57.

Mine is named Natasha.

Why you may ask?
Because when I picture a woman named Natasha, I see a dark haired beauty, clad in black leather who would be found in a very posh club. The woman would suck you dry of every last cent and move on to the next sucker. She's seductive, beautiful and will run you down in an instant. Yep - thats my truck.

Hmmm... funny you should ask. I usually try to come up with a name, but I haven' been able to... I do however have a name for my '67 Belvedere Convertable (which is for sale, BTW). Her name is Belle.

Also, my vehicles are always ladies. If you ask why... because I enjoy spending time with a lady, and I'm not about say I spent the weekend under some guys hood...

Now you really got me thinking... "what should I name my truck?" I'm still torn over what I should put on the license plate...

I doubt that, if I relied on my looks to get replies to my threads, I'd have a negative post count!
