Thumbs up Heard the heart beat

I went with the wife to her doctors appt. this weak and heard our baby's heart beat for the first time.

We're due Oct 18th - which is about a weak before our anniversary (guess I'm not getting this year!)

It's not nearly as freaky the second time around. This time I was thinking, "COOL! " With our first child it was more like, "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

Congratulations! That's great.

You're right, it is a lot less scary the 2nd time around.
I wish your wife a healthy and easy (relative term I guess) pregnancy.

John

Congrats 36!!! I'll have our guys temporarily stop pumping air in excess of 0.1f/cc over that way.

Congrats My baby is do in three weeks (2nd) and I cant wait. Went to the sonogram (sp) and have had the answer (to find out the sex) but we have decided to be surprised instead. I have had to keep the envolpe in the truck since then, makes it hard to try and drive the truck while your holding the envolpe up to the winsheild all the time

Anyway congrats and good health to you and yours.

We decided for the first that we weren't going to find out, and we aren't going to find out this time, either.

(Cough, cough) Thanks (cough, cough) now can you quit sending all of your lead contamianted sediment over, too?

To make a long story short, at my daughters 1 year check up, the Dr. wanted to talk about lead poisoning in children and our daughter's risk of exposure. She started talking to my wife about it, and my wife cut her off and directed the Dr. to me
Needless to say my daughter getting lead poisoning is no longer a concern w/ the Dr., and I think I may have educated the Dr. on some of the sources
