SWEET Thunderbird SC (Pics & Vids)
Guy has 9 thunderbirds in his family. Here is two. This is his Coy Miller SC. Coy Miller is the only guy who makes Race engines for thunderbirds. They are full crate motors. They go from mild to 450 hp 490 ft/pd and higher. As you can see they haul ***. Will make a 4100 pd thunderbird run low 13's high 12s. Can run low 12s with slicks. Gotta love the Sick Blower Whine!

LOL No kidding i noticed the stick too. The factory rods fail constantly. You would think he would get a prop rod.
High 13's low 12's is pretty good for a car that weighs 4100 pds fully loaded. Also has a IRS that dosent like launching. Solid axle swaps greatly increase ET's. But that would kill the sport touring car that the t-bird is.
I figured you guys would like the blower whine.

My buddy's SC has ran 11.75@120 with the stock ported supercharger and IRS, and last summer was the first time it was ever at the track. Over the winter he installed a Whipple 2300, so I am sure those times will drop significantly. His is just a local speed shop motor with a killer set of ported heads. Coy's stuff is great, but with the right combo there is more power to be had for the money.
BTW - the engine is show quality as well

there is a guy in the TORONTO area with a twin turbo 5.8 windsor engine, i raced him last year and he had to go for a ten min. adj. before he raced me and almost blow his engine. so he left for another adj. and smoked my a$$ and i run 12.79 with out my headers and i had them installed
