the line-x dealer in my area mentioned doing something like that when i was getting my bed sprayed. he said they've had all kinds of special requests, the most common being spraying the bottom side of the bed, wheel wells, and step bars.

The place that did mine had some pictures of different vehicles on the wall, and they did the inside of the bed on several dumptrucks. I have also seen a new chevy 4x4 that has the whole front end sprayed.

I saw one Line-X job where the owner had them apply the 'extra' material (she had a custom color for her bedliner) to the trailer hitch. It looked great and will certainly keep that area from oxidizing!

I think there's ENDLESS opportunities for this stuff!

My friend has a 74 CJ5 that is covered inside and out in spray-on bedliner. It is definitely a good idea!

I accomplished the same look and feel with a can of black rubber paint from Auto Zone. It's cheaper and takes a heck of a lot less time.

Streetrodders with fat fendered rods also spray the insides of their fenders to protect against dings that create a star pattern in the paint.
