Losing Job

Well guys, I am sad to say that I have been advised that I am going off payroll on the 31st of this month.

Therefore, does anyone need a good IT/IS or telephone man? I have been working in the AT&T NOC for about the last 5 years, experienced in all types of data and voice communications.

That's terrible. With that resume, you probably won't have much trouble finding a job. Good luck, and keep us `in the know`!

I will keep you guys posted. I am certainly hoping that it will not take long to find a replacement job.

good luck, dude. I hope you find something soon as unemployment is a real drag. It seems to me that you could make a decent buck in the high end install business either working for a store or for yourself. Really good installers are hard to come by and are generally well paid...

Maybe you could make some nice Kick panels and sell them. Probably doesn't pay as well though.

My son has been in the telephone business for several years.... was with Lucent when they sold out to Exponets, the Exponents sold back to the Avaya division of Lucent....... Then Avaya simply dismantled all the Exponet company.... He landed a better paying position before his actual last day........... Good luck....
