"It's an issue of press freedom. What rights do student journalists have?" he said.
Some people are so STUPID and NAÏVE it is just unbelievable. The incident has NOTHING to do with “freedom of the press”.

It is ALL about someone “possibly” breaking the rules and being punished. In the real world it is called being fired and losing your job.

It just goes to show that some “students” will remain students for the rest of their life because they are too stupid to mature into an actual adult and “assume personal responsibility”

Also, where does it state in the United States Constitution that “students and schools” have rights guaranteed under the Constitution, they are a damn school, not a real or actual community and thus the school can SET rules and MAKE students abide by them PERIOD.

Same in the work force, you do not have all your rights guaranteed by the Constitution, you can not freely wonder around work yapping about this and that and claim its your Constitutional rights, your First amendment right, or you get your butt fired…

Some kids and adults are stupider then dogs and just don’t get reality I guess, no wonder there is so many Jerry kid’s roaming around…

You're completely right 01, kids at my school don't get this concept, and same at work, they don't get the whole concept. They think the Constitution will protect them everywhere, but no it wont. Out in public it will, but in an establishment that you are enrolled at, if they have a set rule that states you can't say the word "funky" it means you can't say it. The student who wrote the article should have realized this. Of course on the other hand, where does it say that they can't say "funky monkeys get crazy at night" It flat out doesn't. I know in my school we have a mock Court, and for my american gov class we drew jobs from a hat, mine was lawyer. Something similar happend, but it was in comic form, and it was an indepently published school newsletter. Admins wanted to suspend him, so my class got to do a trial for him, I was his defense lawyer, it turns out, that in my public schooling district you CAN say anything, unless it is against the law, ie "BOMB" "I WILL KILL XXX" SO I got him off scott free, and I got an A in the class You wonder why I'm so interested in the legal system. Now, I think I'll post a thread about the FCC.
