Dealer called

and said He was going to send me 4 pit passes to da monster Truck show!! How cool is that?
This is the same guy who gave me the Ford watch a while back.
I get Ferocious's oil change there most of the time, but last week, I went to a Jiffy Lube cuz some guy recomended them. Not just any Jiffy Lube, a certain one OK? Fercious drinks down 15 quarts at a time, and Jiffy was about $6 cheaper.
So now I have two questions.
1) For the extra $6, (and all the cool chit they give me) should I keep going to da dealer?
2) Who should I take to da MONSTER TRUCK Show?
a. 2 kids, and guest.
b. big kid and 2 guests.
c. 3 guests.
d. nobody, hog them all to myself.

My big kid gave me the phone, so I may have to take him. Darn it.

I'd say if the dealer is sweet on ya I'd stick with them. Might score you more points in the fututre if you have a major problem. I've been taking mine to the dealer since it's only a couple $ difference. Only have 6 quarts to worry about in each of my rigs.

I don't care if Marrio Andretti worked at the Jiffy Lube, I'd still go to the dealer.

I'd do the oil changes at the dealer, it's only six bucks, a small price to pay for piece of mind IMO. Besides, it might keep the free chit coming.
Take the dealer to the truck show, I think he has a crush on you
Sell the other two tickets

The first question was a sarcastic one. I see some of you guys didn't 'get it'
"the dealer" is really the sales guy I bought my Truck from, and also the one who sold my XBF his Truck awhile back, when I told him I wouldn't be seen in a dodge and dragged him there to look at Fords, so the sales guy aught to like me a teensy bit. He has a GF (and is too young), so I'll spare him. Actually he is probably already going himself.

Now the guy who recomended the Jiffy Lube, is because his brother works there, and he prolly does have some 'ideas' (asked for my number). He owns an older model Ford, and drives a tow Truck, so he couldn't exactly recomend his sevices ya know?

I'll wait till I see the date, before deciding. I'm just thinking about who to take now. both X's will want to go if they knew, but I ain't tellin them.

I believe the monster trucks are here this weekend (at the Palace right? or is it the Silverdome?).

I thought about surprising my hubby with tickets for us & our little one (he's been dieing to take her since she was born) but we won't know his work schedule untill tomorrow night & I might be watching my nieces if their dad backs out of takeing them for the weekend.

OK, since I missed the boat on the first one, how about this. Send the Big kid and two "real kids" to the truck show, throw the other ticket away, and invite the tow truck driver over.

Me and the big brat went.
Had a good time. I had forgotten how fun that chit is!
My X was lonely and came over to visit just as I was leaving, then he saw I was dressed to go somewhere, then stumbled over himself to leave, saying "I see you have plans". Maybe he shoulda called first. He he. Yeah, calling first so I can say "No" would be good. He is almost as annoying now as he was before I dumped him.
So me and the brat picked up the tix, then left, and washed the Truck, went to a very nice restraunt where we ate at the bar with him wearing a "Suicide Machines" T-shirt. Got stuck in the traffic on the way back, but slid right in thru the gates, and entrance, cuz we already paid fer parking and had the tix. We had Rail seats, so I got some cool shots, and someone made a short vid of it. 2004MonsterJam
I only took pics of the freestyle because my camera goes through too many batteries.

I'll give you $20 for a pair ... think of it as $20 of pure profit!
