The only time it missed for me was when I didn't look at the symbol before clicking the ball. That's scary! I did it 30 freakin' times. and it didn't miss once.

It's a mathematical trick. If you observe the symbols onthe other numbers (or something) you'll see the corelation. I forget exactly how it did it, but I'm not gonna emss with it now.

Multiples of 9. If you folow the instructions exactly, you'll always come up with a number that is a multiple of nine. 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, and 81. These numbers always have the same symbols. It had me going for a minute or two.

This may help...

If you were to do all the number on a spread sheet you'd see this clearly....
for example...
all numbers in the 90s have the same answer...81
99....works out as follows:
99-(9+9)=81
98 also gives the same answer
98-(9+8)=81
Each multiple of ten (90s, 80s. 70s, etc) have the same answer, all the 90s = 81, all the 80s = 72, all the 70s = 63, all the 60s = 54, all the 50s = 45, all the 40s = 36, all the 30s = 27, all the 20s = 18, and all the 10s = 9.
You will notice all the answers are multiples of 9.
If you look at the chart you will notice that all numbers that are multiples of 9 have the same symbol. So, no matter which 2 digit number you choose, you are going to have an answer that is a multiple of 9.
Math is so cool.
