Nice sunny warm weather for the last week or so and a few area golf courses about to open in the next few days. So what happens? It's snowing!!!
Now, while I have nothing against snow and actually rather like it, I NEED A GOLF FIX!!!!
Mmmmmm, golf...
I need a fix, I need a fix, I need a fix....

Ask any realtor in Canada about my area and they'll go "oooohh, location location LOCATION!!!
Most of the reason I'm getting antsy about golf is I've only golfed once since june because of a badly broken wrist.
Around here, I've been able to golf 10-11 months of the year most of the time.

Just hit the range here today and am playing tomorrow. Was 72 and sunny today.
Always hard to get full range of motion back into a broken wrist. Been there years ago, took over a year to get it back to normal and I only broke one little bone.
I guess the location would be a trade off for you, around here there is some planning involved in playing golf during the most extreme months of summer. Either play early or late, not midday.
Best wishes on your golf fix quest....

I've had the cast off since September. I figure I have about 90% mobility back and still have some pain, but I'm working on it.
The Okanagan Valley in summer is quite hot with temps over 100F on a regular basis. This area was semi-arid desert before the white man introduced irrigation in the early 1900's. Since then, fruit orchards and other produce have been a mainstay of our economy. Unfortunately, in the last 20 years or so, the population has been growing at a rapid rate with orchard and farmland being lost to development.
Lately, Hi-tech is becoming more prevalent which isn't a bad thing as it is a fairly pollution free industry. Kelowna, which is the largest city in the valley at around 100,000, was recently rated as the most economic place in North America to do business. Our wines have been multiple award winners in recent years, also.
All in all I don't have much to complain about living here. Lots of lakes and golf courses, great fishing and skiing.
Anyone out there wanting a great golf vacation in the summer could do a lot worse than coming here.
Damn, I should get paid for all this promotion!
