My 2 Phillips boxes do this. My RCA HD box is fine and never gives me a problem.

unfortunately the phillips boxes are the worst ones... Call DTV and just threaten to go to dish and complain alot and they will usually send someone out to replace the boxes for you with new ones

Retired Air Force communications technician. Now working as a Network Administrator. At least that's the job title for jack of all trades comm technician where I work. I make about the same as I did while in the Air Force so thankfully I have enough pension or I couldn't have bought by 04 Screw.

You have my upmost respect big guy, would love to have a drink with you (although I'm only 17, you're buyin). Wouldn't believe the kind of wisdom you can pass on to me.

Anyways, people should write bigger descriptions for what they do, a lot of them are so interesting I am tired of emailing EVERYONE lol.

As for me, well I'm 17, don't work yet, however am a junior college student and fly planes on the side, working towards my private pilots license, and will then follow in my dad's footsteps, except for the crash part :P

And yes, I agree, a lot of brainpower resides in this forum.
