Toyotas

Okay I have a question.
Today I was behind a vehicle and I was getting the rotten egg smell from it. As always I looked to see what brand of vehicle. As usual it was a Toyota. I can't remember getting the rotten egg smell and it not being from a Toyota.
Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Ummm... haven't been aware of it. You sure no one was cooking eggs on the grille?

Catalytic converters on the exhaust used to smell that way, but I haven't noticed it in a few years.

I think someone in the 2004 F150 forum posted that their truck had a rotten egg smell. I've never paid any attention to what brand of vehicle is outputting that smell when I notice it. I'll have to be sure to look next time.

If I remember correctly, they stated that it was on acceleration, which tells me that it was the vehicle in front of them.
Serotta, I know I haven't gotten the odor much since the late 80's. However, when I do it's a damn Toyota.

Sometimes vehicles equipped to run on propane can smell like that.

It's actually my fault...

You see, I'm in Maryland on business right now and last night, out of despiration, I went to the Mexican place down off of 3rd Street and ate the buffet.... what you didn't see was that I was in front of the Toyota... all four windows were down on my rental car.

My deepest appologies

Well RP, as there was no other vehicle in front of the Toyota, are you saying you were driving it?
