16 years in August. 3 kids, 2 apartments, 3 dogs, 4 cars, and one house later and we're still together.

Dont worry SlowSVT95, when you become fed up with all the freedom and happiness that single life brings you'll seek out a like minded man to settle down with. <Insert theme music from Married With Children here.>

Buckdropper is painting a pretty picture of marriage but I cant help but notice all of his inquisitive marriage related threads in General Discussion lately. Having your doubts now?

Cooking rules! I made an awesome spegheti sauce the other day. I took a jar of plain Ragu (or some other main brand) added in finely choped green peppers, portabela mushrooms, onions, italian sausage, and uhmm, oh yeah a touch of brown sugar. I let it simmer for 6 hours. That stuff was awesome.

Be 7 years in June for me.

Lepew: Come on now i had only 2 posts as of late pertaining to marriage (one was a joke). Remember the kids have JUST moved out and being able to do whatever is a wonderful thing.

Habibi: It may wear off soon so i am enjoying it now, (used to be "not now the kids will hear) you know when the kids were at home we lived in the city for the most part and now we moved to the country so there is no one around us for nearly a mile so its different (at least for a while). Everyone here seems fairly happy all my friends are divorced and remarried some more than 2xs (crazy people). I was just curious as to how most folks that have been married only once are doing. Here's to us all :

Sounds like someone(wife) has "The one ring of power". You know, "One ring to rule them all." You better treat her right.

Leeann, you can hook up with me. I don't need a cook, just a buddy.

Happily married for the last 20 years.
Mind you, I've only been home for about half that time though.

Does this count?

Man, all this talk of old people doing the hibbidy dance, is well, disgusting.

I don't smoke, but I sure could go for one of these right now. ha

I'd rather hear about these "old people" getting some from their happy marriages than see any more nipple ring pics (or any other body piercings).

Their talk gives my hubby hope that there is sex after having kids (heave knows I'm too tired for it now).
