Electronic and computers.... not to belittle your education nor intelligence... call us when that degree becomes mechanical engineering.

I don't recall Electronic nor computer engineers being experts in physics of felling trees.

A class? As in one versus 4 years of physics/calculus, etc a mechanical engineer would study?

hmm, why must everyone try and find some fault or something to comment on about what I say or do, lol. It keeps me entertained though........

The POINT about my professionals comment was that I was trying to say that I'm not a total moron, that I have some concept of physics. FYI, I've taken 4 physics classes, and taken up to calc 4. All engineers have math and physics background, thats the foundation of engineering. Newtonian mechanics and quantum mechanics, took them both. So what if I'm an electical/electronics engineer, electrons, whats that, physics of course just at the atomic level. Not to brag but I'm also 3 classes away from getting my masters as well in systems engineering. That was my point that I'm not a hillbilly with a truck that thinks he can pull down a tree by roping it up and pulling like a moron without preparation and planned cutting to have it crack correctly, and slowly preloading the tree with a winch first. Now can't we all get along??

I'm really a lumberjack at heart,

Hope you didn't think I was serious about the 'midget' comment.
We all know that if things went bad you might have got kilt.

Squashed is squashed. I don't want to leave the impression that I 'really' believed that all the midgets running around are former lumberjacks that didn't know what they was doing.

Do you have life insurance?

The reason I ask is because, if you do, I wouldn't video tape the event. I'm not much of an insurance expert but, I do know that most policies will have some sort of clause that states that they don't have to pay in the event that one commits suicide. I feel very strongly that they could argue that the events that subsequently unfold while pulling Mr. Pine Tree to the ground could be considered reckless and even suicidal.

I know if I was an insurance man that I'd do my best not to pay the claim...

Hey man, I'm just looking out for your beneficiaries.

Oh yeah, I'm a geologist... I'll be your 'off-site' expert for soils, composition, and compaction rates around the aforementioned tree.

Angry

Midgets have an unfair advantage in a bar fight.
They kick you in the shin and then run under a table at full speed before you can do squat. I hate it when they do that.

They can also get insurance for half price.

And don't buy rounds with them either. As long as you are paying everythings fine, when it's their turn what do you hear? "I'm a little short..."

It's usually about ten minutes after that you get kicked in the leg.

Beneficiaries aren't that bad nowadays. You can get an over-the-counter cream to spread on them or just go to the doctor for a shot that will clear them right up.

I had'em, it's no big deal.

Wow... that was spoken like a TRUE 'L' owner... I think the power and torque are getting to you... LOL!!!!!

After reading these posts I have lost all inspiration to become an astranaut and now am going to Harvard to study Lumberjacking.
Stihl or Hauskavarna? I'll go with stihl.
