Please help...

I had my two headlights sockets replaced today. I get home and try my brights under the carport. One bright comes on and the other on the passenger side comes on, but the passenger side bright isn't nearly as bright. Can someone tell me what wrong. Please... Is it just a bad bulb. The guy butt connected everything and taped it up good. Please help....

if the bright does in fact come on then the wiring should be fine and it could be a bad bulb.

If it doesnt come on at all its possible he used a 2 pin socket vs a 3 pin socket (2 pin being low beam only for cars with 4 lamp systems)

Try replacing the bulb first. I think thats the easiest and cheapest diagnostic.

That is good to hear. I'll take it back up there Monday. the filament inside the bulb looks ok, but it isn't putting out near the brightness of the other light. The sockets are correct, because they couldn't order them and I had too. They are exactly the same. If anyone has any advice I'd be glad to hear.

switch the bulbs with each other and see if the problem persists. This may explain everything.
