I'm lookin' at the Nissan 350Z Conv.
anybody have one,seen one ,driven one???
6spd trans ,leather,18" wheels,almost 300HP.
Just don't know if I wanna give up my truck for it???
I WAS waiting for the GenIII "L",but that's gonna be 18+ mos. away!
Just gettin' a little bored!

 

I would say if you can't wait for the new L, at least wait for the new Mustang. This is just my opinion... I haven't driven a 350Z, or seen more than pix of the conv., but I really don't care for the look, inside or out, and didn't find the interior to comfy...

 

I've seen one 350z convertible.....personally i dont care for the look of it AT ALL. but in the end it comes down to what you want. plus if you go for that 350 your gonna lose a LOT of HP. I'd keep the L or trade it for an 03Cobra Vert.

I've considered an '03 Cobra as well,but they seem to be really "soft" resale wise.
There's one on the East Coast that's fully modded to 610 RWHP Kenne Bell,LT headers,Predator,5k miles, I could pick up for $28k.He's been trying to sell it for about 4 mos with NO BITES!
The only thing holding me back is it's Yellow,and the body style is not my favorite.It looks too much like a Pony or GT.
The Mach1 has way more syle IMHO.

 

One of my good friends and my crew chief for my race car has a silver 350z. I personally dont like the car but it is a nice car and is not too slow but it isnt fast either. Personally if i had to have a car for what he spent i would go with a cobra but his family is Anti-american made cars
