is the motor S&S? Nice paint job. Lots of good chroming(spelling?). I used to work in a custom bike shop in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I used to know the owner of Easy Riders(but theres a good chance it might be a different chopper shop....Easy Riders seems to be a popular name amongst chopper shops ) anyway nice bike

VERY sweet bike!

Iam an old Harley bastard from way back. Love'em to death.
But my eye is on the "fat ones".
The motors have come a long way since I was fooling with them. Best of luck with that sweet looking scooter.

I was running a 96 cu in "Sidewinder" kit from S&S on my 67 FLH in 1974. It was a blast, over 100mph Did I mention the 100hp shot of gas . Built the motor myself, but tried to save money on the rods (Funny how, what goes around, comes around). Anyway the stock Harley rods took a dump and killed the motor. And almost cost me my life in the process!!!!!

Hey David: You better not wear them funky Bermuda shorts you have on at the track when you climb onto that two-wheeler. Yo knees will be covered in 'beeeeez' .

No kiddin' now. I have always admired motorcycles as their developers and creators will always be out there on the edge moreso than automotive people.

Good luck with it David and stay on top of it, not it on top of you

Dan

Thanks, Tim and everyone...

Fast Gator, are those, the powdered rods in our motors.

LIGHTNINROD,

No shorts for me on the chopper Lots of "HOT" chrome metal.

I bought a Chopper to cruise around on, not go fast. It's got the power, If I need it., I'll use it..lol. I've been around bikes all my life, this will be my first street bike. I used to ride my brother's street bikes when I was 16- 20 yrs old.

My insurance company said I had six months to get my motorcycle license or they would cancel my insurance. I signed up for a 3 day state accredited defensive driving motorcycle class the end of March. They provide helmets and motorcycles to use for the course. At the end of the class, I get my motorcycle license. I figured this was better than using my BigDog Chopper to take my test with at my local License office, plus the class helps with my insurance.
