We made a Video, check it out

What do you think of the vid we made a few afternoons ago. It was with a web camera and laptop. And was the first time to try it out, so still figuring things out. Warning, if you dont want the people around you to hear it, turn speakers down some. If you want some good sound, keep them puppies turned up. Oh, display's text at the end that reads, "****".

HERE IS THE VIDEO

Good job . The image is clear, but I think some of the movements are a little jerky (when the camera moves). I have some videos that I took from a mini DV and they came out perfect, and there is less equipment to carry around.

Yeap, but our thinking with the web cam is that if a rock takes it out, no big deal. We are going to mount them on the bumper or around in that area or by the wheels and get the tires/suspencion flex and a clear view from up front. That way if something hits them its not 500+ to replace. My other friends have laptop's, so we can run quite a few camera angles.

01, the next video will be much longer.

That's cool then. Didn't realize you were going to mount it on a bumper or something. I mounted my mini DV on the A-pillar and it works pretty well, until the windshield gets dirty. It picks up the sound of the truck as well which enabled me to see what I was doing wrong when I launched the truck at the track, and figure out a couple of other problems 1/2 way down.

Can't wait to see the longer video.

not bad, I think it would look better if you matched the music with the video, e.g. When you switch to a different scene, the music would go along with that.......
