I have an issue with paying top have someone invade my computer.
When it's free, I don't mind the sharing as that is what it is. But peer-to-peer music swapping for a fee is wrong.
For a fee I expect Napster to maintain the 500,000 song library on THEIR server, not mine.

if napster has to charge for you 9.95 to copy a cd from someone else, then shouldn't you have to pay 9.95 for cd's at a garage sale. and when cd's are sold at a garage sale do the artists get any money?
If you do share music. Use Kazaa lite. Make sure to check the box so no one can see what songs you are sharing. Napster a joke alot like riaa. If riaa had a clue they would start a website that for a flat resonable fee, gave users unlimited music. If they made a site like itunes and charged like 20 dollars a month for membership with unlimited downloads. They wouldn't have this problem. They would rather spend hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to figure a way to sue there customers. Compact disk or over tens years old. I just don't see how they can market something that cost probably 5 dollars to produce per cd. For what they were charging 10 years ago when they came out.
Napster is 9.95 a month for unlimited downloads. But I'm curious, I tunes and napster both put some stuff on thef file so that it can only be copy's a few times, and other small stuff like that.

I was having all kinds of trouble with my browser and found out that my PC was loaded with all kinds of Spyware. It took some effort to get rid of it, and since I've checked over a dozen PCs and haven't found one yet that didn't have Alexa, FavoriteMan, Gator, or some other parasite. Check out the following sites:
doxdesk.com
doxdesk has a detection script at the top that tells you what you have.
Good info on Kazaa, AOL and a host of others
For a good free scanner try:
Aluria
If you aren't afraid to manipulate the registry you can get rid of most of them. Be careful out there.
