How long to you think the John Henson Project will last on Spike TV?

I remember him on the talk show on E, and recently on the Joe Schmo Show. He wasn't bad there. He was ok on Talk Soup, but this new show I really am not crazy about. I've only seen 2 episodes, so I'll give it time. But I was not impressed with the first few shows. Anyone else happen to catch the show? What do you think about John Henson and his new show?
Thanks, Shane

I think it is a ripoff of the old Man Show. The show I saw he was drinking beer and sat in a chair that looked just like the chairs in the Man Show. Even some of the bits were similar. John Henson is just annoying to me.

1)John Henson is a Jim Carrey wanna-be.
2)That wasn't him in Joe Schmoe.

For the record, I am not a fan of Spike TV.

Being the first "channel for men" it's really dissappointed. Maybe I just had to high of expectations. Everytime I turn it on it's something stupid or a re-run of Highland or STNG episodes. I watched them all the first time around, don't need them again.

I'm not looking forward to John Henson and won't be watching it.

I was disappointed in that show. By the previews it looked ok but that guy is just not very funny. It would already be off the air if it was up to me. I'd say it won't last long.
Spike is a good channel that I watch often. Real TV is good and the Most Extreme Elimination is the funniest show ever. I will say we would be in sad shape if it weren't for Discovery bringing us Monster Garage and American Chopper.

I liked him on Talk Soup. I actually kind of miss that show. I doubt he'll last long, does kinda seem a rip off of the "Old Man Show". Not to excited about the new guys. Cant replace originals. Spike TV has some good shows, but not that good. i liked it bettter as the New TNN.

I wish Spike TV would have just stayed with their original name of TNN. I guess one reason is that I can't stand all of these new shows that are coming on TV anymore. I mostly like the older shows anyways. Sure they may have been cheesy and unrealistic, but I always enjoyed them. As for John Henson, I have never liked him. He always acted too stupid for me.

Another channel that is starting to be like Spike TV is FX. Except for FX actually plays movies on their channel. I can't remember the last time that Spike or TNN had I saw any good movies on their channel.

I have to admit I grew up (jr high) watching him on talk soup, and it was a very sad day when he left. I loved his hunger stirke. Just one mans opinion.
