Ok so now that I broke it I gotta fix it..

My question is this, I'm seeing different part numbers for grills for 97-98 grills than the 99-2000 grills.

Is this strickly the honeycomb grill inside? Or is the Grill shell (the part that goes around the grill and lights) different too? Need to figure this out so I know if I can get away with an older model's shell or if I need to get the newer models shell.

I've got a 2000 but know a guy is selling a 97 grill shell... my grill is fine so if I can replace the shell and put my grill in it with his 97 shell I'd be thrilled... Anyone know?

 

the grill shell changed in 99 i believe.. it dips down on the bottom, and the 97-98 is straight across.
