No way.... I can't imagine you drinking a beer. Maybe a wine cooler or two. Perhaps a Zima.

Talk to the hand Tuna, seriously, go FYS.

Am I loud and clear?
If you can't debate or express your point of view without being personal and insulting, then there's no point in us communicating period. Kapish? I don't waste my time with retards.

Firs of all, my post was a light hearted joke (I happen to like Bush) not that I have to explain anything to you.

Secondly, if I told everyone here who I didn't agree with something to "stick it up ur ***"
I wouldn't have time for anything else.

There's many opinions here I don't always agree with, but I respect the posters because of how they present themselves.

I talk to people on here the same way I would in face to face, some people have trouble with that concept.
Don't even waste my time with what a tough guy you are because the world is full of too many internet tough guys as it is.

Spare me the bit about us being the 51st state, get over your own arrogance, and get over yourself.

You are either very young, very stupid, or both.

Good day

Well said, Habibi and I agree with you 100%. The political disscussions around here can get intense and some humor is needed to put things back into perspective. The unfortunate fact is, the last 2 US administrations had an extemely polarizing effect on voters. Because of this, any political disscusion can get nasty after awhile and you need to be able to laugh about it whether you like the drift of the humor or not.

What right have I as a Canadian to comment on GWB or Iraq, etc? Like it or not, whate happens in the US effects events in my country and in my life as well as around the world. I'll say what I want. I doesn't mean I don't respect 01, O.W and the rest of the forces of evil, hehe! I expect that if we were sitting in a pub somewhere having a beer (I'll stick to soda thanks), we'd get along well as long as we didn't talk politics.

Unfortunately, lately I've found myself getting a little too wrapped up in this whole Bush/Iraq thing and am going to try and take a break from yapping for a while. Some times it's like flogging a dead horse from both sides of the issue and that gets real boring after a while. I'll still keep reading and laughing though.

Keep it up, guys. You rock.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Habibi is good people and I have nothing against Candia except them chit heads send there cold weather down this way, or at least it seem so…

I’ll say this if it was President Bush or Clinton I would jump in and try to save them and I am willing to bet some (tip money) that Habibi would do the same…

I hear what arrbilly is saying and agree some of the political debates can get heated but I have the world of respect for him and others like sirket and anybody regardless if they agree with me or not.

I look at it like as long as we can “try” to debate something it makes not just us think but maybe others that may read it and never respond. I bet we would all have a hell of a time at a BBQ just BSing with each other, and I like arrbilly am a soda drinker…

We all know there is a right way and a wrong (liberal) way of doing things…

one more thing before I go (yes, I can hear the groans).

Everybody out there, no matter what country, no matter if you're from Canada, the US,Swe, Aus, wherever, has the right and the obligation to vote. It is only by voting, that you earn the right to yap off about your political opinions. It's only by voting that you can have a say in how your society is run.
In Australia, I believe, it is illegal not to vote. I can't see that as any thing but a good thing. Then, you get a true representation of the political will of the population. Then, you don't get a minority that is good at 'getting out the vote' foisting it's agenda upon an apathetic public.
The right to vote in free, fair elections is the most fundamental right in a free, democratic society, so, use it or lose it!

do your civic duty and vote! If you don't, stick a sock in it!

Believe it or not, I am interested more in balance, than in choosing sides. I currently think the US is too far to the left in policy. In the 60s, I would have been more supportive of the free love groups. Not because I would have shared all of their views; but, because of the shake up our stagnant and uptight leadership of the era needed. Of course, free poontang is one hell of an incentive, also.

Aw come own democraps, wheres the honor?

Bush=save him
Clintoon=save his socialist *** too

That's the difference between a liberal (scum-bag) and a conservative (honor). And yes Raoul, I'll tell myself to kiss your ***, in advance, once again.

Habibi,I am niether young (40) nor am I stupid and I certainly dont recall saying anything threatening or intimadating that would suggest Im coming off as a tough guy.I to speak my mind to people in person or otherwise. You ended your statement about me not being able to state my point of veiw without being personal and insulting by calling me a retard(hypocracy).

As far as you actually liking George Bush that has nothing to do with my comments which refered to the President Of The United States meaning having respect for the Office of the Presidency not one particular President .

I just find it highly offensive to hear a derogatory joke about the President at a time when we are at war and losing American lives at an alarming rate to come to the aid of forigners by a forigner. If Canada were to come under atack who do you think would come to your aid,I dont want to turn this into a Canada vs. America thing but just think about who you are insulting.

That being said I stand by my statements, your joke was not funny and was quite insulting.

I met President Bush, well not met him but I was within five feet of him and he farted. A Secret Service agent tried to claim it but everybody in the room knew it was George that done it.

Anyway the reason I mention this is, it didn't stink.
You hear that old saying all the time but, in his case it's true.
It was the most God-awful noise you ever heard and no smell whatsoever.

I mean the man winced and nearly doubled over and the one window in the room vibrated somewhat and I'm talkin about seven second freight train passin through and not one scent of odor. I recall a scant scent of lilacs and that was it.

So Tuna, I can fully understand your outrage cause his S*&^ don't stink.

Raoul did you not read my entire post.Im not defending or refering to George W Bush at all.Im refering to the position of president no matter who it is .What you or I think about him as a person is irelavent,if it were Clinton still in the office I would feel the same about the office of the Presidency.I just didnt find Habibi`s joke to be funny I found it to be offensive and insulting as an American. The point Im trying to make is that we have enough domestic influences trying to pull the country apart at a time when we should be pulling together we certainly dont need outside infuences trying to do the same.

Well, Habibi, I am an American, and I have great respect for the office of the President, and I am not offended by your joke. Maybe everyone in the country isn't near as **** as Tuna about it. Jeez, dude, lighten up, it's a joke.

Tuna, that's all you had to say minus the insults, and you would've got your point across just fine.

My stooping to your level was wrong, and I apologize for insulting you.

I live so close to America that I've ridden there on my bicycle in the past. I'm well aware of what's happening there, and everytime I see a news report about another servicemen being killed, it tugs at my heart strings just likje anyone else who values human life.

As far as my joke "pulling your country apart", step back, take a deep breath and just try for a moment to understand how silly that statement is.

I thought "That Tuna dude is the most uptight person Ive ever seen", but then I noticed you were from New England, so it all makes sense now.
