Can't watch them at work. However I seen the one with a chart about 2.5 million jobs lost.

What is that about? There were no 2.5 million jobs lost because of President Bush, these jobs were lost due to the Clinton recession...

I wonder what the agenda behind this contest was? Very creative though.

Not to beat my own chest, but in various jobs I had in the Swedish Car industry I was at least party to signing off on some very expensive ad campaigns.

About half of those ads are, in my opinion, extremely well done, a third are leaners and the rest are trash.

Remember, though, the people who do this stuff are very good at what they do and their creative juices are far beyond what most of us can even think of.

The good ones are also competitive to a degree that we also don't experience in our daily lives. Give them a challenge and they will go all out to deliver a "product". They don't necessarily have to really believe in it but they will deliver if they can.

Try to not to take it too seriously and enjoy the sense of parody that I am sure some of the contestants were presenting.

Very funny and they all have some truth to them. Below I summarize what they are “really” trying to say…

Child’s Play
”Guess who is going to pay for all the liberal social programs...”

Parent’s acting like Bush
”Clinton, - The year’s prior to and including the White House…”

What I been up to
”Clinton’s 8 year’s in 30 seconds…”

Bring it on
”I don’t have a clue what the hell is “really” going on…

We need to hook up. Where in GA are you? Pat and I are in Kennesaw (store) and Powder Springs (house).

If you can brave the mice/rats in my basement, I can show you boxes/filing cabinets/bookcases of PR materiel I saved from my time with the Swedes

All kidding aside, this materiel was in my opinion rather well done.
You may not like the message but you have to admire the delivery.

In any case, I suppose rather less than .1% of the public will ever see the materiel so it is a pretty small excersize at this point.

bush didnt cause a recession, he inherited it. now hes really screwing over the country with this immigration crap hes trying to pass. why not just completely open up the border so millions of mexicans can swarm in, take every last job available, and pay no taxes because their not citizens. i did like bush, but after this i think hes an a$$
