good photoshop program?

can someone tell me a good photoshop program....

is adobe photoshop program any good or is there something better?

please inform me, im gettin bored and i want something to do

Yup, and it has pretty much the same features you would pay for Photoshop 7.

They have Photoshop Elements at Costco, so they probably have it at the places you mentioned.

Depending on what you want to do, Paint Shop Pro is a good, low-cost program that does a lot of what Photoshop does. (at least back in the day when I used it before buying Photoshop )

Photoshop is by far one of the most advanced photo editors available. Corel makes a decent one as well. PPhotoshop Effects is a very limited version that is intended for small alterations to your digial photos.

If one were curious, they could download "Photoshop" from Kazaa to *cough* try it out *cough*.

I'll give another nod for Paint Shop Pro from JASC. A very powerful editor and very inexpensive as well. The learning curve to master the majority of functions is pretty low as well.
