I hope this lady goes to jail!

Yeah the one who says she won the $162 million dollar lottery but claims she lost the ticket. I just heard on the news that she has been involved in fraud before with a credit card and that if her claim turns up to be false she will be going to jail. Maybe she did buy the ticket and it did have those numbers, but without the actual ticket, she should not get a dime of it.

These people that file these wild claims need to think about their past before they try things like this. Remember the Walmart lady that was trampled? She had been involved in several injury claims with Walmart already. Goes to show that people do not think before they do things. She only done this because the jackpot was so high. If it had only been like 5 or 10 million, I can almost guarantee she would not have even tried this little stunt. I hope they find her guilty of a false claim and send her butt to jail far a long time for attempted fraud.

I agree. I thought the winner had to actually turn in the winning ticket, though, regardless of who bought it.

Thanks for posting.
Heard about the 2 ladies but didn,t know what exactely was going on.
Is it true the winner "only" gets $67 m due to taxes.
Wow, I thought we were a tax country.

About these huge price lotteries.
Why not have 67 prices $1m each and make 67 people happy.

Yeah... "only" $67 million dollars.... Hardly seems worth it now

Ya know what's really funny is the guy that won the $300 million plus lottery. Last night, he was arrested for threatening to kill a bar tender. A couple of months back, he went into a strip club, opened a brief case with over 1 million dollars in it to pay for a drink at the bar, was drugged and robbed by the bar tender and left in a garbage dumpster

There's more to life than money

I was wondering.
Grant price winners here in Holland get people assigned to them who teache them how to deal/cope with these large sums of money.
Fact is, your life will change drastically of course.
Take AjRagno's post for instance, about the guy with the million.

Sometimes we talk about, what you would do with that kind of money and if you could stand the wealth.
I am absolutely 100% sure I can.

First thing I would do, is buy a new house.
Second is to order a new truck.
3 rd visit the States and Canada

Arghhh, wishfull thinking, I am playing the lotto for 20 years now I think and the highest I have ever won is $10.

What would you do if you won a huge some of money?

Why'd you have to ask? I buy 5 tickets every Saturday morning fully expecting that because I'm such a good boy, God will draw my numbers. ...never happens. To win, I think you have to be the type that would spend your nights with an eight ball and a couple of hookers.

If I had enough money that I didn't have to work ever again, I'd spend the rest of my life earning degrees and traveling. Of course, that's after I tire of the cocain and hookers

Yeah, it takes quite a bit of planning and strategy to stay up to date with your threads.
I didn't even notice until you pointed it out, but I guess you're right!

First of all she is no lady. Her rap sheet is as long as my arm.
Secondly, the "real" winners have come forward and claimed their rightful winnings.
I think it funny that the " imposter winner" has actually attained an Attorney who will attempt to stop the "real" winners from collecting their money.
The Attorney has got to be one low life SOB, for even considering filing to do so.
What is this world coming to??????

I believe she chose cash payout of the 167 million. That leaves 100 million for her, minus taxes of about 35% = 67 million. I'd still take it. lmao

News update...12:30 P.M. 1-8-04

The low life that attempted to claim this money is on the noon news crying and telling everyone how sorry she is.
She claims that she just wanted the money so bad that she was willing to try anything to get it...
She had even filed a police report claiming she had lost the ticket.
I hope they put this piece os ***** b!tch in jail and keep her sorry @ss there.

They should give that women the crack head of the month trophy. When she filed the police report it was lie. If I am not mistaken you can serve some time for that. If I was that women I would spend about a 100 grand to make sure she served time. Maybe she could get a sale next to Marth Stewart.

i heard a few things about that woman. she said she used 49 every time because that is her husbands name. turns out shes not married and lives with a 44 year old guy. investigators said the ticket showed no signs of being lost (dirt, water stains). the woman that actually did win said she uses those numbers every time, and had several old tickets showing the same numbers.

on tv they just said the woman admitted to lying about it. said she just wanted some money for her family. cant believe how stupid some people are

If she paid me enough, I'd file it for her!
She is messed up for even wanting them filed, but the attorney is just doing his job.
