I can attest to Los Angeles being the worst.

The freeways are jammed bumper to bumper almost throughout the entire day and late into the night.

I live in West Lost Angeles, on Wilshire almost exactly one mile from the freeway. Sometimes on the surface street it can sometimes take 30 minutes just to go the mile and get onto the freeway.

The past two years have seen a serious increase in the severity of traffic. You can be sitting on the Freeway for hours just to go a matter of miles sometimes.

Plus, for all intent and purposes, thre is no real public transportation here, which just makes it worse.

I'm thinking of moving to some place less crowded...say Manhattan maybe.

DC is nucking futs! I lived outside the beltway for 3 years. I tend to think it made me a better driver. (even if everyone thinks I'm an a-hole)

I agree. Rushour traffic in D.C. is not a good combo...

are you sure Houston isnt on there? traffic is horrible. it might not be so bad if the old mayor had half a brain. he decided to start construction in nearly every part of the city and have only a few workers at each place. now everything is torn up and it takes a year to finish a tiny project.

I've lived inside the DC Beltway all my life and can attest to the traffic problems here. But each Christmas, I spend time with family in South Florida and I think that Miami drivers are the rudest, most aggressive beasts on four wheels. I'd take Manhattan over Miami any day.

Wow, NYC doesnt belong there?

If this list is international, then Istanbul would belong there for sure.
Driving in London is no walk in the park either, the english are such awful drivers (sorry to stereotype lol)

We're still buddies right Adam??

Ya its concrete and cars.... I moved from Manhattan Beach to S.A. back in 1991 and it sucked then...405's a parking lot. The 405 at 6am on Sunday is like HWY 281 here in S.A. at 5pm on a week day you cant see the sky because the smog is so bad.......but hey you can still haul *** on twisty sunset blvd
