after realizing that china had become the third country to put a human into space, the amish started their own grass roots project to do the same.

with little funding, and 'trial & error' as their method of operation, they have so far been unsuccessful.

an amish spokesman said, 'we first attempted vertical launches, but that left our astronauts in the direct line of the engines waste shoot'. 'we also think we just havent found a high enough cliff to start out from'.

an expedition is planned to try again from the rim of the grand canyon.

Fed up with modern civilization, there is a new trend developing: the Amish Kamacaze. Beware if your office building is below a cliff.

While British Airways Flight 233 was cancelled many times due to the code orange threat, the Electric Amish decided to corner the market with non stop flights to Dulles, inflight movie Wild Wild West starring Will Smith.

after reading the lattest spend magazines, dan thought he would give up a few horse power to save weight.

while dan was thinking "boy i'd like to tap that a$$", he missed the last turn.
