I worked in number 1 for 2 years , probably the hardest work anyone will ever do .

Saw a couple of accidents , no one died but they lost limbs ( no pun intended ).

Worked as a number 4 (local 700) just long enough to get my journeyman's papers then moved on to number 7 (local 120). I've seen a couple of people get killed on job sites as an electrician over 15 years or so, but I would never have thought it was that dangerous a job.

wonder where working with your wife ranks?

i have a cousin who is trying to wiggle out of taking 4 years of school to get an electricians license, he can get someone to say he has been doing the work for so long so he is excempt for 2 years of it. i keep telling him there is a reson for the 4 years. the family was glad he gave up on being a fireman, i told him that ,to me, being a electrician but him at more risk.

It’s so cool working with electrical things. You get to see different kinds of smoke and sparks, pretty damn exciting if you ask me…

I think whoever ends up getting married to you will have the most dangerous job.

Not me, I am the sweetest guy there is. I only make things smoke and spark at work, it's free there...
