He made some dumb *** statement about capturing Saddam does not make America any safer. Hello, does this moron actually believe that? This guy would weaken America more so then France is today and we all know France is the weakest wuss on the block.

I think even France would be fearful of Dean because then France would have no one to protect their weak wussy butt.

Word has it Dean is having engraved invitations made in case his little drug induced fantasy comes true. These engraved invitations are for him to send out to every terrorist in the world. It’s a one way ticket to America for the terrorist to do as they please here as well as receive every social program give-a-way.

You think the above statement is scary, well it sure should be. While it is not true it is how Dean feels about this country and how he feels about terrorist.

Full Social Security Benefits at age 65 – I believe that is the age now at which those who receive SS receive it completely.

As time goes by the age will have to be raised. When I retire it will most likely be age 70 or higher before I am entitled to SS. However, if you would like to give me my benefits at age 65 great!!!! Know that you will pay MUCH more in taxes to insure that I get my retirement check at age 65.

Repeal of the “Patriot Act” – Why would you want it repealed? What is it that you do not agree with? If there is something then please be specific and point out exactly where it is at in the Patriot Act. Do not listen to people like your teachers or people on TV. Most of the time they have no clue what they are talking about.

Many things people are whining about that are “suppose” to be in the Patriot Act have in fact be in use for decades. The Patriot, in very general terms, has done nothing more then bring investigation techniques up to date. For instance “phone taps” before you could only phone tap a specific phone for the person you were trying to investigate. That was in the days there was only one phone in a house and no cell phones etc. I think you really need to get a copy of the Patriot Act and actually read the whole thing before passing judgment.

Right to choose (abortions) - People already have that right and have so for something like 30 – 40 years. If you were to take a vote at this moment in America the majority would vote to end abortions on demand and place restrictions on it. It is not a huge majority, but a majority nonetheless.

Guaranteed Quality Education, Pre-K through College – First you have to have a competent education system to even contemplate that idea. We do not now have a competent education system. That has been proven year after year. President Bush passed one of the largest education bills in history more so then any liberal before his time. It has been proven time and time again that the more money wasted on public schools puts out less and less educated kids. You first have to rid yourself of the teacher unions so you can get rid of the teachers that continually fail children. There are many, many good teachers but there are many teachers that need to be fired. You need to get rid to the bureaucratic education system, caused by the teacher unions. That is where most the money goes to begin with. The bureaucrats get richer and the kids get dumber with ever increase of funds to education.

I do not believe that anyone should be guaranteed a college education. If anything one should have to earn their way into college with high standards like B+ average for all of high school. If a kid is only getting a C average through high school then no college unless they pay out of pocket.

However, if that is something you are for then get ready to cough up a lot more money out of your paychecks when you get into the real world receiving a paycheck.

A Renewed Commitment to Peace and Diplomacy – We have that now and did so when President Bush was elected to office. You ONLY get peace and Diplomacy through strength, which is our military and actually taking action against those who wish us harm. Liberals are never for Peace and Diplomacy they are for giving in and sucking up to the evil people like Saddam. They basically believe that by giving the bully their milk money will mean the bully will like them and not mess with them. Well everyone knows that is a fantasy.

Environmental Renewal and Clean Energy – Our environment is basically in good condition now, however it could always be better. It must be accomplished in a smart way rather then with lies and untruths like the environmental wackos do today. Clean energy I am all for but that too will take a long, long time and it will cost money. It too needs to be done smart and not with scare tactics like liberals spew.


All these net little promises these social liberals promise cost money and it is money out of my pocket and everyone else that actually works and pays taxes. If you get everything you wish for you might be lucky when your 30 to keep 50 cents out of every dollar you earn. That would mean if you had a job making say $10 an hour you might only be getting $5 after funding all the social programs.

Something to think about and something your teachers neglect to teach you about. See what I mean about an incompetent education system…

Instead of raising taxes, reapportion them. I can honestly say that my school has gotten better since I first arrived at THS. I think my freshmen year we had a C, then B, and the last two years my school has made A's all attributed to increased funding.

Personally I don't care about the environment, but it is a nice thought to have it cleaner/cleaned.

As for the rest, many of them are just reinforcements of whats already out there. I do agree, most people think the "Patriot" act is something bad because they think it's an invasion of privacy. Hey, can't change everyones minds.

Well I think you will learn that there is no such thing, generally speaking, of re-apportion of taxes. For example, when you raise taxes on say McDonald’s (big business) they in turn pass all or most of that tax raise on to the consumer with higher prices on their products and/or with lower wages to their employees.

So even though it seems you may pay less taxes out of your paycheck it will end up being collected by other means…

 

Right, but when someone(President, congress) raises taxes its not all at once. Usually by the time taxes are raised, the general work force is making more money. In the end, it all works out. Oh well.
