College National Champs Who Should It Be??

This sums it all up

I know there is a huge debate on who should be #1 this year... USC, OU, or LSU. Throw Michigan in there, maybe K-State had Roberson not been hurt. I would like to cast my vote for McPherson College in Mcpherson, KS. Yes, they were hurt by their 6-4 record, and the fact that one of their wins came against an Indian Reservation team, but still.... if you follow the list of who beat whom, it only makes sense. Consider that....

"We are powerless to stop the mighty McPherson attack!"
McPherson College BEAT
Kansas Wesleyan WHO BEAT
Bethel College WHO BEAT
Whitworth College WHO BEAT
Menlo College WHO BEAT
Cal Lutheran WHO BEAT
Pomona College WHO BEAT
Trinity University (TX) WHO BEAT
Centre College WHO BEAT
Franklin & Marshall WHO BEAT
Gettysburg College WHO BEAT
Waynesburg College WHO BEAT
Frostburg State WHO BEAT
Salisbury State WHO BEAT
Catholic University WHO BEAT
LaSalle WHO BEAT
Marist College WHO BEAT
Central Connecticut State WHO BEAT ... Monmouth (NJ) WHO BEAT ... Georgetown WHO BEAT ... Cornell WHO BEAT ... Bucknell WHO BEAT ... Towson State WHO BEAT ... Lafayette College WHO BEAT ... Princeton WHO BEAT ... Brown WHO BEAT ... Yale WHO BEAT ... Columbia WHO BEAT ... Harvard WHO BEAT ... Northeastern WHO BEAT ... Maine WHO BEAT ... Villanova WHO BEAT .... Temple WHO BEAT ... Middle Tennessee State WHO BEAT ... Troy State WHO BEAT ... Marshall WHO BEAT ... Kansas State WHO BEAT...
Oklahoma

So, sorry Sooners, you lose. What about LSU you ask? Follow the above down to K-state and then consider: Kansas State WHO BEAT ... California WHO BEAT ... USC WHO BEAT ... Auburn WHO BEAT ... Tennessee WHO BEAT ... Florida WHO BEAT
LSU

And USC?? Sorry, but no. Again follow to K-State losing and consider: Marshall WHO BEAT ... Kansas State WHO BEAT ... California WHO BEAT
USC

Talking

I heard that the Indian reservation team didn't have uniforms, pads, helmets or even shoes and you beat them in overtime.

WILDCATS all the way. The way they played Nebraska and OU they can beat any team in the nation. Good luck to the Cats in the Fiesta Bowl. They also have the best coach in the nation. He just dont get along with the media.

I think one team Beat OU!!! BADLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if it was all about now...Kstate would be the favorite, but due to Roberson and Sproyles early season injuries that led to losses, they are hosed..

But thats the BCS for ya..Oh well, bring on the BUCKEYES!

GOOOOOOOOOOO STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BCS sucks; but, USC didn't play a tough schedule either. How do you count wins and losses between teams that play opponents that don't match up in quality? There needs to be a National tourney involving the top 2 teams in every conference. Single elimination. That's the only way to settle it fairly. I think Oklahoma deserves to be ranked number one over USC, due to schedule toughness. USC hasn't played anybody in the top 20 all year.

I'm not an USC fan, but USC got screwed. Of the 12 teams the University of Spoiled Children played, six teams are going to bowl games this season. Their only loss was in TRIPLE OT to Cal who is going to a bowl. Granted, they shouldn’t have lost that game, but they did. U$C tried to setup a tough schedule but Norte Dame is rebuilding this year. USC killed Auburn who is also going to a bowl game. A quick “what if” for you. If Washington State beats Washington in the Apple Bowl, WSU is higher than #15 in the polls (more likely Top 5) and ‘SC is in the Sugar Bowl.

Both USC and Oklahoma killed my Bruins, but I was more impressed with the University of Second Choice in their victory.

I think Pete Carroll is the best coach in college. Carson Palmer graduated and won the Heisman last year and USC had to go with Matt Leinart a redshirt sophomore as quarterback. The system is place to keep USC in the Top 10 for the next three years.

We’ll see what happens after all the games are played. Just my two cents.

Dave
