In the garage?

With the snow coming down today I really appreciate having the truck in the garage. I am always wondering why some people keep they garages full of “stuff” (most not that important) and leave their cars/truck outside. So a few thoughts for discussion:

Do you have a garage and keep something other than your truck in it? Do you have a garage that your truck will not fit in? Do you have the dream garage with room for all your vehicles and toys? Are there any special things about your garage that you like? Wish were different? Want to show off pix?

Lets hear it, thanks…

College = no garage,



Back at home, 2 car garage, alway's room for two vehicles. Small 27'x60' building besides the home also, room for everything.

Mustang stays in the garage, truck stays outside. Not because I don't love my truck, the garage is like 2" longer than my truck with nothing in it.

We keep my truck and wifes Focus garaged all the time.
Both vehicles fit, but we must park carefully.
There's also a ton of crap in there which will go to the shed (when I buy a shed)

Once you get used to parking indoors, it's hard not to do it.
Sure is nice not being covered in snow, or having to scrape the windows or whatever. Also, vehicle warms up quicker.

For now I keep it in our equipment shed(with the tractors and what not), but I am in the process of tearing everything out of our old farrowing (sp) shed (for when we HAD pigs). Putting a garage door on it, and its big enough that I can put like a weight room type thing on one end, its heated too

We have one, but it's probably not big enough to house 2 cars.

Currently the expedition stays in it (the grand marquis used to when my mom drove it, now it stays out back with the F-250).

My truck stays out front, away from the falling pecans (I hate pecans...they leave stains that are impossible to get out, and our back yard is completely covered by trees...so in the fall the car is also completely covered in leaves).

In the spare space is a bunch of old stuff...bikes, old toys, boxes of odds and ends, etc.

Ahh, what a luxurious life... cats always creeping on the paint, scratching it, leaves and mud all over it.... what a life NOT

My truck is a garage baby.

I have a neighbor however that has a two car garage that is packed wall to wall, front to back, floor to rafters with stuff. It makes me wonder just what use that whatever is in the box in the middle of the floor on the bottom will ever be. If their garage door opener ever fails then they will be up the old brown creek.

My wifes car and our scooters live in the garage (along with the yard equipment and assorted other stuff that should be in a shed that I will hopefully have come spring)
