Help with a 96 Sunfire

Does anyone have a clue where the temperature sensor is for the engine on this car? I have a radiator light that comes on all the time, and I have replaced everything except for this sensor which I am pretty sure is bad. Thanks for the help. I have not been able to find a forum related to this car yet for help.

If i'm not mistaken it is on the backside of the engine, close to the oil filter.

I have one of these with the 2.2 engine. My son beat the **** ouf of this car for two years straight until I informed him he was to start buying his own gas tires and brakes. Now it has over 80k and has never been in for repair for anything besides tires, brakes and oil. Not one claim on the extended warranty. He even drove it for two days with the oil light on.

Yea this was my wife's car before we had gotten married, but now it only sees duty for me for work purposes. Although I can't stand to drive it, I wanted to keep up with the maintenance so I can avoid purchasing a new car or paying big $$$ should something fail. I need to get it into the dealer finally next week for several safety recalls I hadn't found the time to have done and some minor service. Thanks again.

My daily beater is a '96 cavalier, which is the same as the sunfire. I've got over 154,000 miles on it with no major problems yet. No way in hell I'm driving my Lightning every day in the Atlanta area. lol. It's been a great car. My next daily beater will be another one since they are VERY cheap 2 or 3 years old.
