Earlier he was going straight down the list of the main forums and posting so that he could see his name at the front of EVERY forum...

I called him out on it in the General Care forum (under the Dawn Soap Thread)...

Your man was posting innocuous little ditties on a number of forums one day. Why are you guys making such a big deal about it? He's not a member of your self-admiration society? (now I'm being harsh!)

I say lighten up. He wasn't doing anything I haven't seen Fast Gator, 01 XLT Sport, LGJ, or RockPick do on many occasion. He wasn't insulting anyone, was he? Who appointed LGJ to save us from "annoyances"??? Just a reminder, you guys do not own the place.

He doesn't post much of anything for a year, and suddenly you are all excited because he has something to say to everyone all of a sudden, none of which is offensive. Shoot, this board has over a million total posts, (not counting GD posts?) and 133,000 threads. Fast Gator has over 10,000 posts if you include the ones in GD. So your man has (oh my gosh!) over a hundred posts, mayby 10-20 on one day. And not one of them is obscene or rude! Gosh, run him off the boards! How dare he!

Rant off. I like to lurk here, and enjoy most of the posts. Even the ones from the "post ******". But, you don't have to complain about a guy who is facinated by making his mark on society by seeing his screen name several times on the same page. You guys aren't exactly clean.

Thanks for your commentary Steve. Well taken. No, we don't own the place but posting in every single forum down the entire list just so that he can see his 'name in lights' is something that has always been deemed somewhat unacceptable and not welcome here.

I, for one, have been chewed out for nearly the same thing in the past so, I'm not preaching to the choir as you so gracefully aluded to.

Anyways... moving forward...
