Are there any good car or racing games you know of for Playstation 2 or xbox?
I have been playing Gran Turismo 3 recently and I love it. I know the game is like two years old, but I just borrowed it from a friend the other day. Its a real cool game. When you win races you get money and you can buy mods. That's awesome! A chip, a turbo kit and an intercooler for some cars... It's a real detailed game. There are a bunch of nice cars in it. The gt40 is in it, corvette, evo, and the 350z and the cobraR. I'm sure that's old news to everyone. But I really like the game.
I played test drive 6 for dreamcast and I was able to choose a 99 Lightning as my car. It was bad ***.

Has anyone played the game for xbox segagt2002 I think it is called. Its a drag racing game? You can be old cars or new cars I was told. But you race the 1/4 mile. That's cool if it is true. Has anyone played that for xbox or dreamcast?
Are there any other cool car games you guys know of for game systems?

That game is great and friggin hard.

I have the Sega GT 2002 for the XBOX, and yeah, there is a drag racing mode. It's a dang addicting game, too!

 

I love Gran Turismo 3. I have an escuido on the game that will go 900 miles an hour. Sega GT is a decent game not nearly Gran Turismo 3. I have Nascar thunder 2004 and if you wreck a driver during season mode. They will hold a grudge during season mode. So, first chance they get they try to wreck you at the track. It pretty fun, but unfortunitely I am not a very good driver on the game and about half the roster hates me.

We play Nascar Thunder 2003. We play it in 4 player mode & turn off all the other cars. By the end of the season (or night) we're running each other off the road or slamming on our brakes to knock each other back. I usually play it with my husband, sister & her husband. It gets pretty funny.

 

I've got SegaGT2002 and Project Gotham. Both pretty good games. SegaGT reminds me a lot of the first Gran Turismo for PS1. You can race for money to buy more cars or mods... I haven't played any of the new versions of GT.

I'm about bored with Project Gotham. The only way to advance is to be a bad driver, and spin out and such. That's the only way to earn "Kudos" which are the only way to unlock more cars/tracks.

Another game I really liked was SpyHunter. Not really a racing game, but a really cool driving game where you even get to shoot things. Plus when you finish the game it gives you a code so you can play the old arcade version.

 

can I get some more info on SegaGT2002. I dont have an xbox even so I wont be able to run out and rent the game. I need to see if the game is even worth borrowing the system from my buddy. I've just got the ps2 for now. I really like gt3. When is gt4 coming out?
