Well I have a fico score of 700 and a 5 thousand dollar down payment, and my eyes set on a 2003 leftover F150, but I was hoping to wait until mid-late December before I started cruising dealerships with my checkbook in my back pocket. But Im afraid if I wait until then most of the F150's in the configuration I like will be gone and Ill be stuck having to choose either a stripper 2003, which I dont want, or a 2k4, which I dont want to spend the money on. Can any dealers or anyone else who's been on a Ford dealership recently give me an idea of how slim the pickings are getting for new supercab/v8/ 4 wheel drive XLTs and Sports? Am I being paranoid in thinking the 2003s Im interested in will be gone by December? What kinds of prices have people seen or paid for 2003s in that configuration now that 2004s are coming out?
