Im soon going to buy a wideband 02 sensor and want the unit to log RPM. In order for the unit to log RPM, the frequency output needs to be converted into a 0-5V signal so, I was told I need a frequency to voltage converter. They said to check out the LM2907/LM2917. They also said I would need to "solder up a board." Im guessing they are talking about wiring the LM2907? Can anyone tell me how I would go about doing this?
