Wink Obligatory newbie thread

Hello everyone! Cool forum

Just picked up a 97 Expedition 5.4L 4x4 for use as an everyday family vehicle/daily driver. I already ordered my first round of mods for it- electric fans from Troyer Perrformance, AF1 intake kit, and a magnaflow catback.

So does clonetek ever post in here? I've heard his Lightning is SLOW... lol j/k

So does anyone know where to buy Ford parts cheap? My factory steering wheel was ruined by sun damage. Looking to pick up a replacement. Any ideas?

First, welcome aboard! Glad to have you and feel free to poke fun at clonetek all day and night. LOL!

Second... about the parts, I would recommend www.fordpartsnetwork.com

Email: torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com

He'll take good care of you... EXCELLENT customer service.

Thanks RP!

I've met clonetek once or twice, being that we're in the same neck of the woods.

Cool, they have the steering wheel I want for $238. Ford Parts network lists the same wheel for $264. I did email torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com, so I'll wait and see what he says before I order.

Thanks!

Welcome aboard...

Just thought I'd throw out ebay as an option for a steering wheel. I've gotten several parts for my truck on there cheap, inluding everything I needed to put XLT fog lights except the lights themselves which I got from a guy on this forum. This a great place. I also recommend watching the classifieds here. Got several goodies from there too...

I have a hunch he'll match or beat it.... if not, oh well... it was worth a try.
