Problems with the 6.0 PSD?

Hey,
I'm hearing a lot of conflicting reports about the "new" 6.0 vs. the "old" 7.3 diesels. What's the deal with the newer diesel? Is there a site out there that chronicles the reports of this new mill? What's the consensus and where is it being discussed? Is it a good lump or a LOS?

I just hate when I hit the caps lock by mistake, and don't notice it until I am done typing!

Oh, and my F250 with 6L diesel runs fine so far.

Hey ATST, make sure you use 10W30 or 5W40 synthetic on your oil change. Don't use 15W40 like I did or you will get that rough running/puff of blue smoke on warm startups. I am changing my oil again to sythetic to get rid of the blue smoke.

Otherwise, mine runs like a raped ape. It's amazing how people try to race ahead of you at lights to cut you off. That don't happen in this truck. ONce the turbo kicks in you're gone.

I know. The number of car people that mistakenly thought us F150's would be slow to take off at the lights, is multiplyed by 10 for the number of loser car people that think the F250's will be slow . . .
But I am doing my best to educate them,
- one car at a time!

LOL! hee heee heee... : Just the other morning, a mustang tried that crap. There was No reason for him to NEED to get in my lane, so as soon as I see him stomp on it ~with the intention of cutting me off just to be a couple cars ahead of where he would have been in his land~ I stomp on it too! Since I had 2 more cars of room before I had to stop at the red light, I didn't let off until he locked em' up to keep from creaming the poor guy ahead of him! He was LIVID! :devil

Man I love when that turbo gets in its groove!!
