Mustang for sale near me.

Well, I found a 1997 Mustang GT for sale in town here in Danville. She's a real beauty with a tasteful Cowl hood, Diamond clear headlights, 5-spd, Vortech S/C, 5-spoke 17" Chrome Cobra wheels w/ BFGoodrich tires, some kind of exhaust system (didn't crawl under to see), Tach, the works. The guy only wants $8800 for it. I'm really tempted, seeing as how I can do a little better on the interstate (mileagewise, hopefully), and I'll have money in my pocket if I sell the truck. I probably can get about 13-14K out of the truck, which would leave me a lot to mod and save with. I haven't driven it yet, and I have to go back and talk to the guy to see if he's done everything the way it should be. Also, need to see # of miles. I don't know what insurance will say yet, but I'll find that out, too.

I don't want to part with the truck, but this is really tempting... I've been getting the speed itch for a while now. A 5-spd would be nice, and so would that blower. I'm also wanting something new to start on. This would be great, as the aftermarket for 'Stangs is just as strong. But I love the truck... ::sigh:: any suggestions?

I can't afford to. I can't afford the $8800 without selling my truck (college). I wish I could, but only one car for me, unless I get a beater.

Well, hell... I just went to look at it, and it's an auto. Even worse, it's got a full Flowmaster system that I would have to replace. I don't want to go from one slushbox to another. Guess I'll keep the truck and perhaps supercharge it...

Next best thing:

mod the living hell out of your truck and make it a Mustang GT in a truck body
