Norton Anti Virus Q?

My Nortons expired today.
Will a uninstall and reinstall make it work again?

I'm cheap!

Highly unlikely. When it gets registered it has a serial number. That serial number is key to knowing when and how long someone has used it.

Trust my, PAY for the freaking update. My last computer got a BAD virus of some type, couldn’t even use it anymore and ended up buying a new one last December. I have Norton anti-virus and subscribtion that I will not let run out…

Oddly enough though, when I formatted my PC and reinstalled Nortons 01, then entered my renewal code it gave me the free trial ontop of the renewal so I had 90 days for free, I was kinda shocked.

There is a free version, it is just as good as Norton AV. Eventually they are moving to a pay-for version only I believe.

I got fed up with Norton AV a few years ago. It's the Energizer Bunny of the AV world, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I've been using eTrust Anti-Virus. $25 to buy with a 1 year license, $10 to renew another year.

Should've asked your good friend Rockpick prior to dishing out the bux!

There ** ARE ** ways around it.
