How Many Remote Control Devices Do You Have?

Just got done changing batteries in a bunch of remotes, so I decided to do a count.

How many remote controls do you have in your house?

Receiver
CD Player
Cable Box
Direct TV
DVD Player
VCR

Guest Room = 1 (14 inch TV/VCR Combo

Living Room = 3 (TV, VCR, DVD)

Bedroom = 3 (TV, VCR, DVD)

Office = 3 (TV, VCR, Xbox)

Truck = 2 (HU + Garage Door Opener)
Wife's Car = 1 (Garage Door Opener)

Key Ring = 1 (Remote to unlock from door)

Now wait just a cotton pickin minute, I never included the 4 key fobs for the vehicles, so that puts me to 27 (tied with clonetek the gadget guru)

... and another thing, I think the wireless gamecube controller is a sleazy way of getting an extra entry. I will allow it, but it really is in the grey area. It's a wireless controller, not really a remote control device in the true sense of the word.

When I was a little kid, the firsdt TV remote I remember were those Gerald thingys, they came in a beige colored box, and were attached to the tv with a cord. We didnt have one right away because they were expensive. Before we got it, I was the remote.

my dad would holler "hey *****head, go change the TV to channel 7" and off I would run, sometimes I would just sit beside the TV, and change it as they yelled out "Put it on channel 4, and hurry up"

The good old days

i think everyone is not including the remote control cars we get for the kids, not for me, for the kids. at least 5 in my house, 2 cars, boat, a remote control ball and the submarine and i just got the "kids" a remoter control lantern for camping, we really needed it.
so thats 6
cars 2 + 2 extras = 4
garage door 3
remote for house alarm 2
den 5
living room 4
sony universal for living room 1
bead room 1
ceiling fan = 3
mouse on computer ar home 1

30

does the clapper count?

thinking of getting the remote that finds the remote.
