Transmissions

Currently own a '97 Ranger and just started looking at the '04 f150s. No manual transmission... Last time I drove an automatic I stomped on the parking brake pedal trying to upshift :-)

When was the last year a V8 had a manual option? Are there really so few people that would miss having something to do with their left leg and right arm?

(Woops, might have answered my own question... With one hand on the cellphone and the other hand shifting, who's steering?)

2003 F150 with the 4.6 V8 - that combo can get you a manual. Otherwise a Superduty with a 6 speed is the next option with a manual.
