I graduated from Cal in '84. That game took about 3 years off my life, but it may have been worth it.
Amazing effort. The entire game was incredible, but I cannot believe how high that USC #44 jumped when he blocked that 2nd kick. It's like there was a trampoline on the field.
Great game.

I was there in '75 when Chuck Muncie and QB Roth blew out the #4 Trojans on the day after John McKay announced he would end his tenure at USC and go on to better things at the Tampa Bay Bucs, establishing himself as the losingest rookie coach in the history of the NFL.
I was listening on the radio that Saturday in 1980 when Cal beat Stanford by recovering a fumble and eluding THE STANFORD BAND for a touchdown...
(man I feel old...)

Yeah, congrats to Cal. I never thought they could do it until they did it. I have to say the best comeback of the day was Florida against Kentucky, though, that was sweet!
