Dirtiest vehicles
Dirtiest vehicles
I just read this and thought it was funny.

This is a list of the dirtiest vehicles that was just published. What is funny is that over half the list of 15 vehicles are made by GM. Only the Excursion made the list for Ford.
There is one thing that I don't understand. Aren't the Excursions and the Superduties made on the same chassis and almost identical? Or is there something internal that makes the Excursion so bad? I guess it is all those environmental wacko's that are only looking for the SUV and not for the truck that is almost identical. Oh well...

Weight is the only thing that got the Excursion on that list. And, as you will notice, it was rated with a 5.4 L Triton.... which is the SAME engine that many of us run....
Is their any vehicle that has the GM 6.0 L V8 engine tht didn't make the list? Dounds like that specific engine may have a problem...
microvan ... Is that a combo of the 1980s minivan and the 1960s microbus?
I'll bet every one of the vehicles on the list makes less air pollution than a 60's era VW microvan.
