reminds me of the fights I used to have with my dad.

Its not easy. There is a basic problem ALL father son relationships have when the son gets to a certain age. The father realizes that his boy isnt a boy anymore.

Well, theres more to it but i wont get into it now.

Your dad could very well be a ***** by nature (I dont know him, thats your call on what hes really like). But remember this... you're not 10 anymore and both of you know it. You want respect, he's reluctant to give it.

Keep your chin up. It will get better. Especially that one day down the road when you do move out. It will be the single greatest thing to improve the relationship with your dad.

yeah, thanks for the comments J-150.

I'll definately keep my chin high. Only a couple more years, its a scarry and great thought
