Johnny Cash

I am no good at links, but:

If you have RealPlayer or equivelant, there is a 4 minute spot entitled "Hurt" which I believe was recorded in the last two years or so that will absolutely bring tears to your eyes.

What a great loss to music and to us the public.

If you cannot find it on one of your "player" thingies on your regular PC programs you may find it on Google or some such.

As a PS, I only attended one concert and when he did "Folsom Prison" I could really identify as I used to be a Police Officer. Didn't do service at Folsom, just some time at the San Diego Jail. Same people, same problems.

"Hurt" is included in the "American 4" release.

For those of you who don't know...

Johnny signed with American Records and has released 4 records produced by Rick Rubin. Rick is better know as a producer for such acts as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Public Enemy.

If you have not heard them, I highly recommend buying all 4 of the "American Recordings"

The first was recorded on a 4 track recorder in Ricks living room... Johnny and his guitar with no band. It will move you.
