Just got home from watching the best high speed bike pursuit anyone has ever seen. Sitting at the local hang out we watch this crotch rocket blow by us at speeds estimated buy the police over exceeding 180 mph. We lost count of the cop cars chasing him. The owner of the bike lost control 6-7 miles down the road went into the woods and RAN!!.. The cops let the dogs out and the cop told me the bike lost control at over 120mph and the only serious injurys were from the dog taking a little bite out of his leg. No helmet!!!! What a dumb ***

how can cops keep up wit a bike doin 180?, i have seen plenty of bikes around that doin 100 or so by a cop and cops wouldnt chase them

 

cops shouldnt chase people over 100 mph..its not worth the lives of innocent people. They should just try for the tag number, then find them later and actually do some detective work... I wish it was illgeal for cops to chase people like that, its so insane that its not.

My neighbor ran from the cops on his JXR, had a passanger with him also. He said he eventually just shut it down because he couldnt corner very well with the extra weight and didnt want to hurt the passanger or his bike...the cops suprisingly let him go, and then busted him for all sorts of other stuff at his house...I think they didnt want to waste arresting him for that when they knew they had a bunch more on him if they waited.

 

around here i've been told by cops it's discretion of the officer with high speed bikes.
i have had one pull me at 110. i stopped when the disco lights came on though. not worth my life to try and run.

 

I was watching cops one time, and a guy on a motorcycle was out running the helicopter. They busted him get this...becuase he ran out of gas

 

I say if the chase is in the city then get the tag and let them go unless it was a murder or something that serious. If the biker is on open roads in the country I say chase him till he kills himself on the bike…
